Now, if you're made of money, I'm sure those other flashlights are great and I'm not knocking them.However, if like me, you want a really high quality combat tactical flashlight for your AR, without dropping between $150-$600 dollars on it, this is your answer. BTW, in some AR forums, I read that UTG wasn't known for their quality in the past, but have turned things around and have really improved. The package comes with two case housings, one with a regular body, and one with a built in rail mount. They are interchangeable as well as the twist switch and the pressure switch. The xenon model has a regular tube mount, that is not built into the body. The last advantage is that this light is significantly brighter! The output is rated to be 150 lumens, which is by any means blinding! It is of solid aluminum construction and measures 5.26" in length making it fairly compact.My home defense Remington 870 has been at my bedside at night with a Mag-light on the nightstand. I needed a solution that would attach to my shotgun so I would not be fumbling with a separate flashlight when investigating suspicious noises, and this unit fit the bill perfectly.
