I got this for my wife as a necklace knife. It came out of the box VERY sharp and over all it looks nice. I have two minor issues but they are important enough to me that they take away a star. First it is much smaller then it looked in the picture, I was going to get one for myself but this thing is so small I can get one and a half fingers on it and with it being as sharp as it is I'm sure that if I put any pressure behind it I'd be bleeding as well. The second issue is the sheath and rope. The cord that it comes with is cheap and short so it won't really hang in the right place so I am going to have to supply my own paracord to have it in the right spot and the sheath is sturdy enough looking but time will tell but the shape is very square and not form fitting at all, if it was a little closer to the shape of the knife or a little more pliable around the corners then it would open up the carry able options. I usually have a mid range pocket knife on me, but when I don't this blade has come in handy time and again. This is a crazy sharp emergency blade. But for $15 dollars I use it more like a real slick box cutter. Comes crazy sharp and keeps a decent edge. But this is what it is: A great little knife that comes in handy and can be easily replaced given the cost. |
