I work outdoors and I do enjoy the change of seasons. I followed the directions on the bottle to the letter. The next day my rain suit was put to the test, and within 15 mins, I was soaked to the core. I have previously used other product's from Scotchgard with excellent results, but this spray and dry formula did not work for me. This review is from: Scotchgard 5700-6 Durable Water Repellent, 12-Ounce (Tools & Home Improvement) You need to follow the instructions - spray liberally over and dry at the recommended temperature in the drier. I tried that on a cotton hat and put the hat under the faucet. The water ignored the cotton as if I was doing a magic trick! I don't know how it would behave in real rain or for how long will it be that good, but it really impressed me.
