I like the beefy handle with the lock down lid so you can carry it like a suitcase. The grate is pre seasoned cast iron, this is great for cooking the temp is nice and even and hot enough to sear a steak. It says you can sprinkle some wood chips under the grate and it also can work as a smoker which would be interesting to throw a little extra flavoring. My stove is the Camp Chef Explorer Series EX-60LW 2-Burner Modular Cooking System, Black and it locks into the frame perfect. Now I have a barbecue and a cooker. Got the shipping for a great price too, I would highly recommend this product. The only issue I have had in 3 months is the handle screws loosen up easily. I love the stove and plan to do some home canning on it soon. The grill box is a great addition. I especially like the even heat of the cast iron grill. It is easy to use, the perfect size for all our needs, and the whole unit is portable. The construction is sturdy and so I anticipate a lot of years of use. I would never go back to the useless gadgets and mediocre results of the conventional grill. As a bonus, I especially like the industrial design of this unit. It is a better value than units that can cost even more. |
