This knife was ok, but my favorites are the Gerber prodigy series. I have both the prodigy and prodigy tanto blades. The grip on these are far more comfortable than the warrant's grip. The prodigy grips are a hard, solid smooth rubber feel, where as the warrant's grip is two sided, with part of the metal blade shaft sticking out down the middle. Gerber's quality in thickness is still there, which I like. I use these knives as prying tools on my gear as much as I do "knives". The warrant's handle has a hard plastic feel, which in my experience, tends to get slippery with any type of moisture. Also, the shieth is thinner, and doesn't "click" in like the prodigy series do. BUT, as I began, it's still a great knife for the collection / for the money.

This is one of the better Tanto blades in the price range. This knife came hair shaving sharp out of the box and no problems with it whatsoever. The sheath is very high quality, and comes with a leg strap as well. It is a full tang blade with aluminum overlay scales for a handle. The blade is very thick and sturdy and I highly doubt anyone could break this blade under normal or even heavy use. Gerber uses a chinese made stainess steel which is powder coated. My experience with Gerbers and this steel have been ok. They are not the greatest at keeping an edge, but sharpens easily. This knife stands out in the price range because there are not many fixed blade Tantos in the $25-$30 range. Also... I've owned several gerbers over the years and have found that their coating on the blades are very well done, and have yet to have any of my gerber's rust on me. This knife is just a great leader in the price range, and is simple and pretty much indestructible!

Not bad! Although this knife borrows heavily from Benchmade's Nimravus, it's still decent in its own right. Like the blade and finish and it feels great in my hand. Wonder why some of the specs where hard to find though... Also wish it USA made! Overall a good knife at a very good price.
